The team is very submissive, not much desire and energy, they just go with the flow. Matulino is a lover not a fighter, he plays with controlled aggression. I wish we had a little mongrel though, a couple of guys who have more pride in themselves and take things personally, either by showing no respect for the opposition or by barking orders at the teammates. That desire can guide a team whose coaching is lacking. Steve Price and McKinnon guided the team with a bit of desire at their best, and so did Maloney while his heart was in it.

Has Ben Matulino ever been suspended? Or even charged? Pretty sure he has not.
He strikes me as a total professional, who takes his job and his place in the team extremely seriously. He also appears to have fantastic control of his mouth and his actions.
I doubt Ben would ever want to jeopardise his place in the team by reacting to an idiot like Lussick, who in reality is a total pest and probably didn't even hurt Ben with his punch. Matulino is the kind of guy who will get even with a legal tackle, not risk getting suspended for a striking charge against someone who isn't worth it.
He's not soft.

This. Regularly puts in multiple big hits per game, yet rarely gets penalised for high contact. Totally clean judiciary record. Makes good metres week in week out. Doesn't throw stupid offloads. Rarely gets penalised in general play. Yep, must be big, dumb and soft like Aragimp claims :lol:
