There were players who chimed in for periods of the game and 1 or 2 that contributed all game.

3. Gotta be clark
2. Ford - 2 tries and energy
1. CNK - effort as per usual

Pompeys form under the high ball is coming into question for sure, but his general play is otherwise good, despite being so slllooowwww. One thing in recent weeks that has been surprising, is how fast Capewell actually is. Not express, but he looked like Mr Plod last year and so far this year, appears quite mobile.

This team is starting to make me feel confident. My confidence is however very, very, very fragile and I can fall back to a fetus position, ever so quickly (like after the Storm game). 30 years of following the team teaches you to be cautious and I reckon having genuine confidence in the team was limited to seasons 2002 and 2003.....

Metcalf would have got a 1 from me but his goal-kicking needs to level up.
On the flip side he is starting to warm up and gauge with the line and team better.
Perhaps Webster is on to something with keeping Luke and Chanel as a combination.
We are a third into the season this weekend perhaps by Round 13, the halves will be firing.

In a tightly run race for the eight those missed shots at goal could be the difference between success and failure.

Capewell played some very smart footy yesterday - set up the first try with great decision making and an accurate pass and was often in the right place at the right time.
Dead right...he's had some crap games but the last 2 (which we're marking him on ) he's been very good.
