Hm: JFH, Barnett, Roger, Clarke, Laban, Egan.

I thought Laban showed some real mongrel in a long stint. Leka did a job without shining and Ali was defensively sound. Loved the effort all round and loved the result.

3- Boyd
2- Barnett
1- Tuaupiki

HM- Niukore. Not saying he was the 4th best player. But that was as good as I have seen him play for us

3. Boyd. If he keeps this going, he cannot be dropped even for peak A.Johns
2. Ford. Still not human
1. Barnett. Hell of a performance off 9 months off

Boyd 3 points

Ford 2 points

Laban 1 point.

That game was won on the defence of the Warriors, Laban tackled his heart out to the point of double leg cramps....fought to a stand still.

Laban was a monster possessed out there. So tough and rugged. Still a future captain in my books.

It looks like groupthink but it's just how it is:

3. Boyd - what hit me yesterday was his kicks, powerful spirals.
2. Ford - he knows how to drop a player with a grass cutter!
1. TT - elusive footwork, particularly in both 20s, (when he gets the ball most!) The opposition panic. He does get bullied though, ragdolling and all that. This is where our heavy muscle come in to warn those transgressors off.
