Nah - it's just the moronic Canberra fans on this forum who bag him endlessly for being bad defensively as fullback. But The proof is in the pudding - the last 2 seasons he led all fullbacks in trysavers by a long way.
And that's impressive because the previous 2 seasons we allowed fewer linebreaks than all but 3 teams.

Hayne being bad defensively is a massive myth - but it gets put out there because people think that if he was good defensively then surely he'd be the best player in the comp. And because they don't want to label him the best player in the comp, they try and find some weakness... Why not pick on one that nobody pays much attention to!!
