Fire away from full-time.

Doubt I'll watch it to be honest. I'm overseas on holiday and I can't be bothered finding a place that plays it for this mob.

3. Barnett - he hammered them all day.
2. Walker - a senior player, who stepped up accordingly.
1. Tuaupiki - fast and solid.

HM, the Warriors fans who turned up. Look, they probably bought their tickets a month or so ago but, hey, they made some noise. It brought our boys home. Without them we would've lost.

I learnt to spell Leiataua and Tuaupiki properly today and wrote it down on a piece of paper here beside me. I knew I'd need them as soon as I tuned in just after halftime.

Hopefully, I'll remember it from now on and I feel I'll need to.

3 Barnett - He is the example every week for the rest of the team. Inspirational. He
2 Taupiki - not even a little overawed. Brilliant game.
1 Pompey - One of the biggest effort games I've seen him play.

HM Walker, Jazz, Roache, Montoya - all stepped up! AFB and Bunty, surprisingly missing.

cometh the hour cometh the kids
3 Roache, is now number 2 hooker
2 Tuaupiki
1 Leiataua
I was looking forward to this game cos win or lose we were going to see something different and we sure did, most exciting game of the season and possibly with least people watching. I reckon a lot of fair weather fans swapped to Blues last weekend in search of a sure thing

3 - Tuapiki - we need to find a way to keep him in first grade or he’ll get poached sooner than later after that. Huge game.
2 - TMM - stood up big time and took control of play. Kicking was ordinary but his passing game was absolutely key.
1 - Barnett - pick of the forwards, massive game

HMs - pretty much everyone, that was a huge team effort. But I’ll single out Jazz, Walker, CNK and Ali Jr especially.

DMs -Meth for giving up and not watching, Webby for not having faith in some of these guys earlier, in hindsight we should’ve rested SJ and possibly Tohu weeks ago and dropped a few others who weren’t performing.

I didn’t think Bunty went missing but AFB was relatively quiet. I suspect he was being heavily marked. Actually after looking at stats I retract that, they were both pretty absent offensively though both got through a solid amount of defensive work. The bald bros really carried the pack today, which is in itself encouraging in that we can make metres without relying I ordinately on AFB.
And after looking at the stats Pompey and Montoya deserve HMs too, massive games from both of them.

We didn’t lose much when Egan left. Roache was great

I thought the back 3 were absolutely terrific today. Montoya responded well to being dropped. (he was wasn't he?). DWZ had a cracker.

3. Jazz. Hearty effort from the bench
2. Taine. Stood up in every aspect
1. Roache. Wasnt spectacular and didn’t stink but there was a possibility and he probably knew it that he might not get any game time.

dm. Pompey for letting in two pretty easytries

I mean, just the most incredible effort with the amount of guys out. And AFB was largely anonymous, as well, which makes it even more note-worthy. Penrith were awful, but shit we were full of heart.

3- Jazz. Massive. Ran hard, made big tackles, all guts
2- TMM. Now we know this guy can play, when given the opportunity
1- Barnett. Has to be favourite for POTY. Goes hard every game, huge workload, leader

Tried to squeeze Tuaupiki in but just couldn't.

3- TMM
2- Tuaupiki
1- Tevaga

Huge Honourable Mentions- Walker, Barnett, Roache, Laban.

Afoa massive defensively. Leiataua and Pompey great.

Hopefully this turns our season around.

I thought about that too, but then at the end his tackle caused the Penrith player to throw up all over Suncorp and that cancelled all the bad stuff out. :)
Yep that shot, his try and the 140 odd metres he ran for put him firmly on the right side of the ledger for me.

LOL, but I know how you felt. A couple of weekends ago I wasn't overseas but out of state, I had to trudge my elderly parents all the way from Coolangatta to the Twin Towns Club in Tweed.

I kept thinking, why am I bothering? And I was proven right (vs Knights).
