Finally, a positive week.

3- Mannering
2- Matulino
1- Henry

Honorable mention to Packer.

The whole team was an improvement. Ropati was much better at fullback (aside from being caught out positionally a couple of times) and Inu added a great deal (aside from two errors)

Everyone in the side deserves at least 1 point though, far better effort than the last 2. Hopefully Bluey wasn't talking out of his ass when he was talking up the change in their training this week, cause they seemed much more energetic.

3. Matulino - A beast, top three props this year easily.
2. Maloney - Got you off to a good start, a couple of solid defensive efforts.
1. Benry - Best game so far.

Johnson and quite a few others were also point worthy, a good effort.

Ah, what a nice feeling. A good game to have to pick a 3-2-1, with some deserving having to miss out. Tempted to sentimentally put Inu in...;-)
Mannering
Matulino
Benry

But great game, good on them all for coming back from a fortnight of hell. Now, off to take on the 'Cheetahs'...hope the form can step up again, and once again be their bogie side, it'd be so kickass to be the team that ****s their unbroken record

Better forward effort. They weren't complete pussies and weren't dominated for once.

Also noted they started using a different defensive pattern on the edges. They werent using the same compressed defence. This time they numbered up out wide and it worked better.

Wroppo played his best game this year at fullback, despite being caught out a couple of times at the back. Shows up we need Locke back pretty badly. Wroppo will be out with a hamstring by the looks.

What was also good the halves took charge and used a bit of variation.

3. The Forwards
2. The halves
1. Outside backs for not being turnstyles.

I'll go with that. No minus points today, Manu and Wopo included. Inu kinda gets plus and minus points though, some typical Inu lapses but some classy stuff too.

3. Mannering - Strong as usual
2. Maloney - Good turnaround form last week with good touches on attack and a better kicking game.
1. Inu - More diamonds than rocks, particularly in defense.

Hon mention - Ropati had his best game of the year as did Benry, and good to see Johnson taking a bit more charge.

Defense still a worry but a much improved effort overall.

Same for me.

Obviously we stepped up a level but the rabbits were poor. If they were the Pakistani cricket team I'd be investigating after some of their decision making. At one stage it was about 8 on 1 and Sutton turned the ball back on the inside.

First full game that I have watch since the Gold Coast game.

3. Matulino
2. Mannering
1. Henry

Not overly fussed with the points that the bunnies scored. 2 from kicks that Ropati was out of position for. The other two were good plays from Taylor.

Was good to see Ropati run at the line like that, he was always there in support too. Pity the next game is ages away on Anzac day.

I find it weird this forum usually loves Maloney, this week was close to the best I've ever seen him play and he can hardly buy a point? Laid on 3 tries with great passes and had a 4th disallowed.
