3.
2.Mannering
1. Johnson, Maloney Matulino, Benry

I honestly think that the way we played, I dont think that any single player deserved 3 points; hence I have a few that deserved 1... Though in saying that, Packer Taylor Tupou Rapira and Ta'ai can all consider themselves unlucky not getting points

I find it weird this forum usually loves Maloney, this week was close to the best I've ever seen him play and he can hardly buy a point? Laid on 3 tries with great passes and had a 4th disallowed.

Fair point.

I am probably biased towards forwards.

Maloney's passing game was stunning today.

Maloney was great today, for sure...it's no slight that the majority have gone for others over him in their 3-2-1...if anything that's a good thing. There are players right through the team that deserved the points, long may it continue. All players turned up to play. Although I went Mannering Matulino Benry, there were plenty of other players you could've picked instead, Maloney one of them. That players don't get a point in a 3-2-1 but played well enough to get them...shows a huge turnaround from last week where none of them deserved them-Ups to them all for being determined to improve their game for self pride and others around them

Thank you to Bluey and the Boys, for restoring my faith once again. I really enjoyed today's game.

We now have two halves that can throw great cutout balls. Where have you been hiding that, Jimmy?

3 - Matulino
2 - Maloney
1 - Benry

Hon mentions to Packer, Brown, Rapira, Mannering and Johnson. I wanted to give Johnson points for his overall leadership, but Benry had what might be a career-defining day today. JBro was good, too, with ball in hand. Fish-like positioning on defense though

Now if we can hold onto this for another ten days and take it to Melbourne...

ETA: Also, how good was it to see Inu back? Sure, he made a couple errors, but he was generally solid in defence (hit with force, too), didn't get dominated in the tackle, and made the defense pause with his footwork.

ETA2: And how good was Matulino's hit on Ben Lowe?

ETA3: On another note: we're equal-third best so far this season for points scored, but have conceded second most (behind the Eels). Doesn't tell us anything we don't already know, but it's interesting.

I actually thought Henry and Matulino stood out performance-wise. Maloney, Johnson and Mannering all had very good games as well but I'd pick the player of the match from the first two.

Agree that Benry really stood up today. If he keeps this up I'm liking a future combo of him and Hurrell.

Like everyone else I found it very hard to distribute the points for all the right reasons

3 - Matulino (o for oarsome)
2 - Benry
1 - Packer (someone has to give him a point, his hard nose runs helped give us the early momentum we needed)

With a bit of forward momentum to work off, Friend showed his class too...very quick service and some good darts.

Its nice not to be grumpy on Sunday, my girlfriend appreciates it.

Great games from others.

The right flank defence & attack was great.
Best game of the year from SloBro. He is a fullback not a center. Hope he works on it in the Vulcans.
Henry's improvement, week to week, is dramatic.
Inu deserves to be there. Make things happen.
Only concern is Manu - just too many errors.

+3 Mannering
+2 Johnson
+1 Maloney

Mannering is just rock solid in the game.

Johnson - I'm still watching replays of his try - amazing creativity to make something out of nothing. First two tries came from def little kicks of his.

I would have put Maloney at +2 if he hadnt missed those first two kicks and that forward pass of his.

Yep, and again, a Bluey concept that has come off. Credit where it's due...and if this is a sign that things are starting to click he does deserve accolades for it. You've been hearing dissent all last week from the media just starting to sharpen their pencils on Bluey, haven't heard a thing about the coach since the game.
But it is only one game, and you're as good as your last one. Keep it up guys!:)

True.

Glad to see Matulino play more minutes, too.
