I thought the biggest DMs were Leka and Laban. It seemed to me like Leka was having a shocker so they took him off, but then Laban was even worse so they had to get Leka back on.

DM- DWZ. I mean, what's left to say. I just think his mad muppet act is really wearing thin.

3. Clark
2. CNK
1. RTS

Found this tough as our attack was so limited that no-one really stood out. Basically those 3 guys are the guys who regularly take a lot of reasonably high quality runs (Ford just gets in the way and stat pads for mine)

3- Clark- took Tapine etc on in the middle of the park. Massive in defence.
2- Ford- don't really like what he does with the ball, but defended well. Work rate.
1- Egan- again, lots of work in the middle. A little bit of craft.

HM- RTS

It’s funny how I coveted the Kiwis front rowers JFH and Tapine, but on recent evidence these two supposed veterans are extremely ill-disciplined hotheads. I guess JWH left a legacy.

Again, even just in the context of the situation of that game, it was a braindead tackle and not the sort of thing you expect to see from an experienced pack leader. Just hot headed bullshit

Spot on but don’t be objective like that.

CHT was also terrible, made mistakes and gave away 6 agains or penalties.

But for lot of us the new youngsters don’t do any wrong and Ford is always the bad giy

yeah CHT also lost the ball twice when we had 13 on 12 which was huge. Pretty much ruined the whole sin bin period for us.

I’m not really sure what DWZ did wrong? I’m seeing him being blamed for the first try which involved a centre going back infield so not sure what it had to do with DWZ. Leka totally clocked off on that try.

I wasn't too worked up with his defence tonight. It wasn't that kind of game.

It's just the absolute chaos on his wing. He's always going to shell it. He comes flying in, leaps and he's all arm, legs and hair. All sizzle, no steak. Never any steak.

X2 on this. He totally f**ked it up for us. Low percentage play when we had tackles up our sleeve. Then the backbreaking knock on. We only had 3 sets during Gingas sin bin

Maybe so but he still needs a babysitter. I would have kept Ali out one more game and left Capewell at centre. I dont think that try gets scored if hes there.

3. Ford - Now he pads stats? The guy played 57 minutes, outran and tackled just about everyone, with plenty of post contact metres, was (unusually) mistake free & awake to situations. Handing no points is kinda insane.
2. Clark - Hardly any hyperbole's left to say, the usual business and this time with an angry green pack at him
1. CNK - shame about the bin, he was fired up tonight

Can't fault effort all around, nobody phoned it in.

DM to Pompey for that completely brain dead penalty.
DWZ defended fine, but couldn't do anything on attack.

And yes I still stand by a TMM/Metcalf combo - CHT has too much Leuluai in him, a handy player at best with good shoulders.

I mean…I don’t think any of the 4 wingers caught an attacking bomb the whole game so I can’t really shit on DWZ for not doing so. Those are a bonus.

tbh in the absence of glaring errors I didn’t think he was great anyway. CNK and RTS were bending the line with their carries while DWZ was target practice for the Raiders defenders.

3. Clark - a tremendous warrior. He's also good when it comes to sorting out grubby opposition players. He's taken over from Addin there.
2. Ford - I noticed his post-contact metres. He seems stronger this year.
1. Capewell - did a nice job tying up his side of the field.

Hm to Bunty. He seems stronger this year too. Makes good impact when he hits the line.

No points for our backs. They couldn't get across the tryline in the second-half.

Yeah, I am just at the point where I don't think he really adds anything when he's at his best and when he's at his worst he's a disaster.
