DM- Webster. Stubbornly moved away from what was working to go with what was known and here we are.

3- DWZ
2- TSS
1- Halasima

HM- Vaimauga. Tuaupiki was good under the high ball.

DM-

CNK- dogshit
RTS- dogshit
Metcalf- dogshit
Ford- dogshit
Niukore- dogshit
For once I agree with all the calls including the DMs.

Webster has obviously identified something Vinay’s needs to work on because we needed his mongrel and should have come on after 29 mins

3 DWZ A hattrick and generally a pretty strong game all round,
2 TSS. big improver this year,
1 Boyd. giving him one because he never gave up.

HM Clark, Vaimauga, Laban, JFH, TT

DM. Metcalf (really has not found the rhythm of the game. He was offering nothing CHT wasn't already giving us ... in fact, considerably less)
CNK. very poor defensive reads and offered very little offense.
Leka: I think he's a better impact player. He was well gassed at the end.

Obviously injuries will force changes next week ... probably back to what we had originally. Based on what we saw tonight, it may be an improvement.

PS Clark needs more game time!!

also had a competent game
TSS
Laban
Vaimauga

Did not really
RTS
CNK
Metcalf is not better at standoff right now than CHT
DWZ sure he got some tries but his aversion to tackling let just as many in.

Hey what is up with our players failing to get into dummy half whenever there's a play-the-ball away from structure. Twice in a row, no dummy half and there were about 4-5 times tonight where we nearly got caught out.

his go to is intercept instead of tackle
he rarely tackles anyone

The Sharks nearly scored with the Iro break. CNK and Laban exposed. Tuaupiki and DWZ (more the former) try-save.

First Kennedy try is mainly CNK, Boyd and Laban. DWZ left with a 3 on 1 overlap.

Second Kennedy try is all CNK.

The Iro try should not have been a try. The overlap was DWZ with a 2 on 1 overlap. I have no idea where CNK was and Boyd came in on Hynes- probably should have left him to Laban.

DWZ shut down a promising attacking move by taking that intercept. If he didn't, it would have absolutely been a try and not really him at fault.

Another one, from memory, he knocked down.

I've piled on DWZ before but yeah, I just think you have this all wrong.

3. DWZ
2. TSS
1. Clarke

That was horrible. Agree with all Meth's Dogshit allocations. And no way was DWZ responsible for any of those Sharkie tries, mostly CNK. So our right side defense remains a cluster and we still have no clue on how to shut down broken or second phase play. Long-standing issues that will derail our season unless magically resolved. We would've been a far better chance had the rain continued from the start...

I mean, one of their tries was horse shit, so it kinda ended up a 4-5 try game in the end.

Well, that was a hard watch...

3 - TSS
2 - DWZ
1 - Boyd

DMs - Webster for sabotaging the team by rushing his favourite son back in and totally ruining the dynamic - he also continues to play guys to fatigue before using the bench - and what is the point of bringing Healey on for the final 10 when he can do nothing to change the game

Metcalf - his touches were so bad it almost felt like he was trying to sabotage Boyd so he can get the 7 back - I'm sure the reality is he's just gun shy and lacking match fitness, but part of me is suspicious

Niukore - needs no explanation

Webby will probably be forced back to what worked for the first 3 rounds against Melbourne but even so, our confidence looks shot and we might get rubbed out for the season if we're not careful
