3 Rein
2 Cooper
1 Widdop

Thought Rein was outstanding for the full 80 .
Was proud of the whole team finishing with 15 players, they showed guts.

3. Dugan - despite his couple of errors in the first half was very strong, got us on the front foot coming out of our own end plenty of times.
2. Merrin - very strong as per usual.
1. Morris - awesome as per usual, developing a good combination with beale and has the knack of creating something out of nothing

disappointing not to win because there really wasnt a bad player on the field, chins up and come back strong against the warriors next week

No way. A shocking missed tackle on Ben Roberts for the Cooper Cronk try. His service from dummy half in the second half was painfully slow and inhibiting to the attack

He just should not be playing anywhere near 80 minutes

The 1 missed tackle hurt but he did stop a couple tries as he always does. More often than not he's the 1st to meet the defence and we need more tenacity from the rest of the pack. Rein has a lil indecision at times with his service but generally its not too bad and anyone who can get to DH every time and do 49 tackles is doing ok in my book. He does over 40 every week. I agree though I like the idea of him having a rest but you have to have a replacement just as good and we don't have the answer for that ATM. Creagh didn't seem himself so I wonder if he was sick or carrying and injury?

He makes so many tackles because he's a target for the attacking team. They know they can win the ruck

Just cos he's a target doesnt make him a weakness hence the 49 tackles and Merrin is usually 2nd in the tackle count. If our line speed improves in the centre they will be forced to go a bit wider, Rein is always 1st there which means others need to fix their speed

It is a weakness.
a) he is not winning the ruck allowing a roll on
b) it causes fatigue which severely effects his attack

Think Creagh missed that tackle .His workrate throughout the match was great, picking bits out ,you can do that with most players, but he was involved in defence, took the line on and was generally busy which is what a hooker should be.
But you are welcome to disagree.
Many here give points to the Duges who was great in the 2nd half, but really should have stayed on his feet in gifting them that try.

Pretty spot on Jenn, Rein and Creagh both missed the tackle but I agree that Rein with 49 tackles had a pretty decent game. Creagh seemed to lack intensity. Duges did go down too early as if he stayed on his feet he wouldve handled the ball easier though you can't fault his comittment
