I like Thompson, but we got cut to pieces down his side of the field in the first 20 minutes - which was the losing of the game.

100% agree about Teflon Thompson. His defense was particularly awful.

Like vs Manly, the forwards were the main culprits for that loss IMO. Getting cut to pieces on the edges is one thing, but being so weak defensively up the middle, where there should be adequate numbers is inexcusable. We were physically dominated all over the place during that first 10 mins and it just got worse.

Johnson had numerous chances to make something in the second half, but instead passed it on or bombed to nobody. If there's no chance, he always clocks off
