3. Mannering
2. Bunty - over forty tackles against a top-rank pack.
1. Ken - had a pretty tidy game against much better opposition. Remember, he was the man marked down as having a disastrous game.

I can't find 6 points in there unfortunately, it just seemed that majority of the team did the bare minimum to ensure we competed, rather than try and win

This for me too thanks for doing my thinking Blair. Yeah I thought Ken played well, a thousand times better than the wuss on the other wing.

Same as above.

Does Mannering have a son or daughter?
We need to clone him ASAP.

Bunty has a good leg drive

Brodene only forward to average over 10m on his carries.

Storm is a well oiled machine that slips one cog out and the new one fits in.
Kearny taught by once of his masters today.
"You can't out Storm the Storm!"

Keep learning my padawan!

3. Mannering - Great all around effort.
2. Lillyman - Good metres and 20 odd tackles.
1. Hingano - Good involvement. Doesn't look shy with the defensive stuff. Thought
he played better than Johnson. We definitely look better with a second
playmaking option.

Thought Maumalo played well. He involved himself in the second half when we were struggling to get out of our 20 metre zone.

1. Maumalo - kills me to give him points but the guy *does* try

Maumalo had the luxury of not being targeted by Cronk, it won't happen a lot.

Thought Hingano went ok, Bunty and Bodene had some strong carries
Princess and Luke were hot and cold.

-3. Tui, he's a shocker. Doesn't learn, doesn't care, just along for the ride.
-2. Kata for that showboating (again) that cost us crucial points
-1. The Gubbster, so much plod

I just for the life of me cannot understand why we don't revert to Fusitua @ fullback when RTS is out, he owned that position so well that there were times I was wondering if he's even nudged out RTS himself.

Long season, our only hope is to stay injury free and hope the injection of Foran, Manu and Mutts turns things.

3. Lillyman - easily our most effective middle
2. Bunty - they threw plenty at him, he looked good
1. Vete - his runs were a lot stronger than Mannering, which made the difference for me

hon. Mannering, Maumalo (should be a middle forward)... and Ata did a fair bit of good stuff that didn't get taken advantage of by his teammates too I guess

I didn't hear much of Bull on radio (during the game) but I'm really pleased to hear now that he's showing up for another good season. You see the best of him when you're actually at games. He's just so powerful.

I hope he doesn't waste his career by being loyal to us.

TBH despite the loss most of the team played pretty well. Lolohea and Gubb are the only ones to get a black mark from me. On that performance we best most middle of the pack teams.

For me too.

Can't see any reason to retain Lolohea.
50 NRL games under his belt and he hasn't learnt a thing.

It was Hoff who shook the ball loose from Addo-Carr running it off his line for a kick return, and led to our second try. The winger might be more careful who he runs into next time.

2. Maumalo - actually played pretty well
1. Hingano

Overall, considering the conditions, I didn't think we were that bad. Storm were just too good.

Stupidist game I've seen in a long time.. Storm played up the guts, wet weather footy, we didn't.
I also reckon that every Warriors play the ball, the Storm were offside..
Half the Storm play the ball, we were offside.

Refs were like the weather, atrocious. .
