Normally I total 3-2-1’s on Tuesday but with the game being on Tuesday this week I will total it up on Friday.

1 - Ford would’ve been 2 but he had a couple of errors/penalties that marred an otherwise huge game

HMs Tohu, CNK and Jazz were all going great til they got injured, DWZ, Ale and Bunty all stepped up to fill the gaps, SJ was solid again

Storm really targeted Johnson. Who still looked better than previous years. How is it that the Storm, of all teams just get such leniency at the PTB? It just does your head in?

Lussick was much better than last week. Backs were shut down.

Ford is the quiet achiever and the majority of those PTB penalties was just the officiating poorly on show again never had the rub of any similar calls.

Well the question of whether someone is a "quiet achiever" is entirely related to what people are saying about them, maybe you are moving in Ford-less circles (Holden fans?) but I hear him being praised all the time, without due recognition of him being a magnet for penalties in the PTB. He repeatedly overdoes it.

Likewise, ridiculing the comparison to Murchie has nothing to do with the player himself and just relates to you I guess being unaware that fans for some reason loved that guy when he was here. But again, maybe you hang out with smart people who didn't rate him either.

Niukore is a bit of a problem on the discipline front too, although more a combination of foul play and PTB infringements in his case.

I could probably give you a better example to compare.
Maybe DWZ? he has that error or 2 in his game and has been doing it for years. He's well loved and got captaincy for Kiwis. Hence I had to say something in defence of Ford.
