3-2-1 v Tigers

3- Walsh

Not a perfect game of positional fullback play. But in a team that has some pretty uninspiring halves and a workhorse hooker, he's bringing an exciting brand of football back to the Warriors. And speed.

2- Egan

Close between him and Harris. Both put in workman like performances that were much needed.

1- RTS

Not a winger, but looked more like a winger than the last time he was a winger (v Melbourne). The Murchie try was superb.

HM- Harris, Ah Mau

Katoa has a good game apart from throwing an intercept pass and then a stupid tackle.

RTS should still be at 1 imo, Brown needs to do better to use his two best attacking backs

On the back of that performance, I am happy for RTS on the wing. It's an issue for us right now and we have a gun fullback who will otherwise sit on the bench.

He shouldn’t be on the bench, RTS is the best 1 imo, and Walsh needs to be on the ball

HM. I had Katoa lined up for a point, then he went and threw the intercept and got binned himself. Looking better than earlier in the season though.

tbh its either 1 or the bench with CHT fit, whether that's right or wrong

I think we need to keep RTS at wing because he will get better with more games under his belt and its a position of weakness for us. Even though Montoya got 2 tries, not sure how long he lasts. From the games ive seen of him, he tries extremely hard....but he also seems to be extremely unco. Jennings from last year was rock solid. Did we even offer him a deal?

tbh both Jennings and Montoya overperform for us. They are both only as good as their inside players and that was the case tonight. Probably Montoya’s worst game for us

Walsh has had 10 tries/try assists in less than 4 games, whereas RTS has 18 the whole of last year and this year.

Walsh at 1 fits the team better, so I think he has to stay

1. Kodi - stepped up in that last 10 minutes and set Egan up beautifully at a key moment. I think we’re all pretty hard on Kodi at times but 10 try assists this year is a decent whack.

Ah Mau, Roger, Jazz and Egan all great too

aside from other considerations I don’t have a problem with Brown also considering next year with where to play Walsh and RTS. RTS is a huge pair of boots to fill and if we can somehow pull of a reasonably smooth transition by having him on the wing mentoring Walsh that’s a bonus.

3 - Walsh. A no brainer. 1 try, 3 try assists and a try saving (sort of) tackle but enough bravery and desperation showed.
2 - Egan. He's getting better each game.
1- Harris. Typical workhorse performance

HM - CHT, RTS, Murchie (till he got tired and made some errors)

Like Big Marn, I had Katoa lined up for points.

And for once, just once ... I would like to win a game. Like, be leading with 30 mins to go by a good margin and not look like throwing it away. I would like to be NOT yelling at the TV with 1 minute to go. I would like to be sitting, relaxed on my couch watching my team cruise to victory. Just once! Please!

Katoa and Murchie were really good....until they weren't. But promising signs there.

An hour after the game I still feel anxious.

Agree with DMC, Katoa and Murchie in the point rill the last 30mins.

Kodi needs to work on defensive reads.
Walsh looks like a 6 to me.

I think the 3rd team to win after multi sin bins

Montoyas worst game yet he scores two trys Ken would not have scored, I would say Montoya is a lot better than our other wingers.

Those were crucial Trys.

One he busted through a tackle with hard running, the other he scooped the ball up from around his ankles to race in.

Prepared to let a guy have an off game without dragging out the noose.

Walsh three points for moine.

Harrirs two points, pretty much saved us with twelve men.

Egan one point, very reliable tonight and steadying while four other forwards tried to lose the game for us.

Our pack played like boneheads infringing in the tackle which made the game almost un winnable.
