It's a different perspective scoring this when you are live at the ground. Few things I noticed:
Berry looked off the pace, caught out of position in attack a couple of times, blowing hard and dropping balls. Really had high hopes for him.
Walsh is the dominant player and voice, Kodi went missing again and Chanel played like his mind wasn't on the job, wouldn't be surprised if he has some contract trouble on his mind, he looked flustered from the jump.
Curran is becoming our new Mannering, only a matter of time before he is skipper.
Lodge and AFB looked big and intimidating and made plenty of metres.
Egan scooted nicely, he is developing well.
Pompey and Arthars may as well not have been.
there, didn't notice them at all. The tigers pommy centre gave Arthars an absolute bath.
Aitken, Montoya, Curran did alot of work.
I was also at the game and seen a lot of things that you dont see on the telly.
AFB was enormous and very experianced, he was always talking and pointing to every player nearly every play. Was making easy metres with his late footwork close to the defenders.
We have probably the worst backline known to man. Boy they are shit house. Didnt even know Kodi was playing until the 2nd half. Our outsides still jam in when they dont need to and our wingers get exposed.
Really happy Montoya turned his fortunes around. He made sum good reads in defence.
Luciano Leilua is the laziest footy player i have ever seen. Never takes a hitup up the middle, even when they need it he will stay out on the right. Tigers were off side all day especially Ofaengue, he camped at 8 metres all night. Im glad we won and could give a shit that the bunker screwed over the Tigers. Happens to us all the time so good riddence. but becos it happens to an Aussie team the media are all over it.
Great night at the footy especially the free feed and beers all night, very dusty this morning as i write this.
Reece Walsh stayed back and went around the ground taking photos with everyone. This guy is a champion and the team needs to help him out, make him the games highest paid player and get him locked up for the next 7 years.
Funny thing was when he was going around the ground after the game, fans would throw him their phone for him to take a selfie. The Tigers Under 16 team was there (a few of them play for my local club) and they rushed down to get a pic and Reece asked them to throw the phone to him, next minute 20 phones got thrown over the fence hahahaha he was cracking up as well cos a couple clocked him in the head.
And when you think about it he is their favourite player yet he is only 2 years older than them
So for the 3 2 1 my picks might be different as i saw the game differently and was pissed by the end haha
3 AFB
2. Walsh
1. Montoya
ps Pene needs more minutes
