3- Johnson. Not a perfect game, but big plays when we need them.
2- Matulino
1- Thompson. May have got 2 but for early blemishes and that boneheaded late tackle.

HM- Ayshford, Luke

3 - SJ: even at 70% he's s a match winner
2 - Maumalo: monster metres, no mistakes. Are people convinced yet?
1- Mutts: mr reliable 150+ metres

Hon mentions: everybody else. Not a perfect performance but a good tough team display against decent opposition when we needed one.

3. Luke
2. Johnson
1. Ayshford

Ayshford is one of our best signings in recent memory (probably equal with Bodene). Has owned that right side of the field from the get go almost.

Bodene ditto.

Fusitua really coming into his own with the #1 jersey, wonder who goes where when RTS is back.

Matulino also very strong

1. RTS
2. Fusitua

The question is, where does Lolohea go?

Id be giving him another bite at #6. It's not as if we have gun alternatives.every position outside that is looking solid, even with Manu injured.

3. Bodene
2. Matulino
1. SJ

Hon: Luke, Aysh, Fus, Mannering.

Agree with Fufu, Ayshford has proven to be an awesome addition to this team. The combination they have going on that right side with SJ, Bodene, and Ayshford is super potent. And Aysh is a solid defender as well.

Biggest major complaint with this game is 5th tackle execution. Almost none of Johnson's kicks came off, and he got caught with the ball or passed to someone like Mannering on the 5th a few times. Against a better team we really really need better 5th tackle execution.

Tits actually looked likes the better team for the first 50 mins of the game, but then I think their injuries started to have an effect and we were lucky to pull away with it in the last 20.

3. Mannering. tackle to get the goal line dropout was the turning point and terrific defence just before halftime to keep them out as well.

2. Fusitua. Great under the high ball and good carries

1 Thompson. Might have been a late tackle but that guy was f**king around on whether to pass so Bode took the odds. im ok with the penalty. otherwise had a good game against one of his old teams.

Good to see the points being shared around. A much better sign than Mutts or Simon pissing it in every week.

3. Thompson- What an allround great game with a try being just reward.
2. Luke- IMO his best game in a Warriors Jumper; really took the pressure off Johnson for the great majority of the game.
1. Matulino- that is the Ben that we know. Really lifted the team when he came on.

Unlucky- Ayshford (I bet he aint regretting his move to NZ and a better buy than Tate) Bunty for two of the biggest hits I have seen in years (ala Peter Johnston) and Fusitua/Maumalo- we really couldnt have asked for better from the two of them.

3 Bodene
2 Shaun
1 Bunty

Good stuff giving Bunty a point, he looked so comfy out there, and the best hair since the original Hitro I reckon.

Me...

3. Bodene - I just really dig that mobile and dangerous forward play. This is also coming off a sterling effort, under great pressure, last week.
2. Ayshford - been said already. What wasn't said is that we're a professional outfit, we should expect some signings to turn out brilliantly.
1. Johnson - and he's injured for crying out loud. One of his best tries, and with a killer fend.

HM, Mannering, Mutts, Fus, Big Ken...and Cappy, for picking Ayshford over Konnie in round one, which had many of us scratching our heads at the time.

Kata played really well too, not sure who didn't?

I've had a couple and had forgotten about Luke. Great game and it's also reassurring to see a highly competant, and cool-headed, goalkicker take those crucial duties on board.

Meth, I'll stick with my original picks though, cheers.

3. Princess - running on fumes but still got involved and made the decisive play that won the match
2. Matulino - monstrous
1. Ayshford - in a team that blows hot and cold it's great having a solid all round performer.

HMs - Maumalo for those massive metres, though he is lucky he's not having to do much as a winger so far
Luke was great again
Fus gave Lolo a lesson on high ball duty.
Bodene good too, but couldn't bring myself to give him points for that incredibly lazy moment letting Hoffman run through

I can't go a week without mentioning Thomas, nice to see him actually put in a kick and a try assist, but unfortunately more of the same yet again. Luke is covering his glaring weakness.

I thought Mannering was poor tbh. Nice tackle on Hoffman and harassed the young half a bit, but poor by his standard.

If we had the effort and determination of the Titans, we'd be leading the comp.

Me too, looked (understandably) tired from that crazy performance last week.

I also thought Fusitua had a mixed bag. Good under the high ball. Good kick returns. Chimed into the backline well on occasion. But geez, some of that last man defense was awful.

Maybe I am just grumpy tonight

By the way, Titans got away with murder around the ruck. Ref was only reffing one side in the first 40
