3. Johnson
2. Lolohea
1. Kata

Best game from Isaac in a while too

Agree with this.

Forwards laid the platform for the backs of course, great effort all round.

Funny how Johnson makes the first two tackles of the game and then runs the ball into the line first touch (or thereabouts) and then boom, whale of a game.

Does that initial involvement get his engine roaring or does he do that initial involvement cause his engine is already fired up?

Maybe bit of both.

Either way, he has to get stuck in early like that every time...

3. Lolohea... What a game
2. Kata ...Roberts, never heard of the ****er
1. Mannering. To cop that much of a smashing time and time again; and still lead the kick chase.

3 Johnson
2 Luke
1 Fusitua (special try just when we needed it)

Hon Mentions. the whole team. Manu probably a little off the pace but otherwise good effort.

Forwards did great, but this was a win to the spine (well, minus TL). Fus & Kata get special mentions along with the entire forward pack (actually, maybe not Bodene & Gubb for me, they were a little under what was a high level). Roache is a promising running DH too.

3 Johnson - had one of those games.
2 Lolohea - yep. just.... yep. had a near perfect fullback's game.
1 Luke - would almost certainly have been higher if allowed more minutes.

Pondering this one, those given points were great but the pack allowed it, good thing was aside from Thomas who is mud everyone was really good

Geez, harsh judge much? What did TL do wrong?

3. Lolohea - good kid, nah, great kid. In that pressure position too, a bad attempt at a high ball, or last line of defence, can negate any good offensive work. Lolohea covers both, with interest.
2. Johnson - sparked early then, crucially, finished it. He needs to blow poor Newcastle off the park next week, and why the heck wouldn't he?
1. Lillyman - have to have a forward in there, Bull was very physical early, probably had a big part in tiring the opposition. He can also pass and off-load.

Kata was real good, he's turning into the Hurrell we always wanted. Ayshford good too, he stabilises our attack, runs good lines, and tackles.

3: Luke, got the forwards going, spotted gaps, ran. Want more like this, really felt like he got us rolling.
2: SJ, took the line, backed himself made some majic.
1: Matulino, great impact from bench and offloads.

Tui and Kata deserved points. But just felt Luke deserved it this week.
80% completion rate.
10 line breaks,
8 penalties and 6 errors still a bit high. Although 3 penalties came in a quick period.

3. SJ (the game we've been waiting for - hopefully this is the confidence booster he needs)
2. Lolo (expect him to be so good now I almost forgot to give him points)
1. Mannering (better skill offensively with offloads, and heaps of effort on the one percenters)

Luke, Kata, Matulino unlucky not to get points. Good (no great!) performance all around. Please can we come out like this every game. Please! PLEASE!

Only blemish was the ultra-soft try at the end.

How bad was Maranta?

3. Mannering. - set the tone IMO
2. Lolohea
1. Luke like Mannering was huge early

Johnson, Lillyman and Matulino were great too. Johnson will get a lot of love, and deservedly so

3. Lolohea - an absolute superstar. Now for me THE best player in our team
2. Kata - owned Roberts, now one of our go to's in attack
1. Johnson - picked himself. Very impressive game.

Lets hope we can continue this. Have Newcastle and the Roosters in the next 2 weeks. If we are any chance of making the 8, we have to win both.

3 - Shaun "Magic" Johnson = Made a lot of experienced elite players look ordinary with that solo try of his
2 - Solomone Kata = Shut down there centre and wide attack on the edge all night\
1 - Issac Luke = Heating up again hope it continues

Whole team gets a pat on the back for a turn around in effort and attitude.

Hon Mention: Cappy

Vete and Lisone had a red hot dig tonight too.

I think it might be time to see Hingano come into the #6 if TL is out. Especially against the Knights
