Enjoyed the Fox commentary. ever since they started trumping NZ's rubbish SKY TV by commentating Mt Smart games in studio, the fox team has become well informed about the Warriors this year.

Hearing comments like the Warriors back three do all the heavy lifting so the forwards are free to defend was on point and made nice change from the usual ignorance of years past.

Lots of discussion about Lukes game every week shows they are actually watching what is going on, and even commenting on the subtleties of Tevangas game and how his runs free up Luke for a follow on scoot from DH shows they are really getting to know the Warriors finally after 20 years like they know the games of Melbourne and some of the other sides.

Loving it.

I get the games sent to me from a fellow fan with the FOx commentary. So I watch the Kiwi commentators live then get the Aussies on replay.

incidentally Glen Lamar is good imo.

Hope SJ brings that running game to the finals, without it we will struggle. He has had a good year in all other facets except, as usual, doesn’t run anywhere near enough.

If he takes a run in the first few sets of a game it means he has brought his running game. Such a clear indicator and been that way for three years or so. I think he took a scoot on our second tackle in first set last week....

Earlier this year, I often suggested that we go with Mannering at loosie and Blair at 2nd row with Harris. Kearneys finally gone with his old kiwis loose trio and NOW look. Im not hear to say I told you so or anything like that but Harris works well with Johnson and Blair works well on that left side, while Mannering does what he does best in his 13 jersey that he owns.

Johnson can run it as much as he likes but if he aint got the power forwards like Harris on his side, his running game aint going to be as good as last week.

The Aussies are a mixed bag. But at eleast I guess we get a bit more a of a variety, I’m guessing you get the same Sky team every week.

Larmer is an appalling commentator imo, but you never seem to hear much about him one way or the other
