Before I give my points...Been There and Reefy, what's doing? Mander had a good game. We played with discipline, they didn't. Elliot admitted that! That's why we won the count.

3. Gallen
2. Nuts
1. Bails

Peach would have got one, but for his simple knock-on after Covell batted the ball back in for him. Not enough urgency or skill shown by the Peach on that one. Stevo was also good, and I'd have him in my points if he had played closer to the full 80 like Nuts did. Also Hilder was very good in the middle of the paddock. Not mentioned much by the commentators, but he was solid.

As for Noddy...Poor bugger, almost has to play above himself for anyone to notice these days, since we're all so used to him playing so well.

Good games from Mellor, Simmo and Vagana as well. And can I mention Mr 100%, 6-from-6, Super Winger Force Be With Him Luke?

3 Points – Brett Kimmorley: As if the article didn't tell you who was going to get the points today. Kimmorley started the match in poor fashion with some unlikely handling errors but "Goddy" overcame his own demons to seek vengeance on the Raiders of his try-line and ensure the two points were to be packed on the bus headed up the Hume Highway.

2 Points – Jason Stevens: Made the most metres against a team that defended strongly and managed to offload very well showing that while in the twilight of his Rugby League career he is certainly not in his "declining years".

1 Point – Paul Gallen: Mr Consistent was carving up the Raiders even early in the game when the Sharks were struggling to go forward and even took the initiative by running from dummy half on a couple of occasions. Tackled strongly and like Stevens provided some very handy offloads.
