Was listening on the radio. I hardly heard Foran mentioned. You'd think he'd be The Man when it got tight at the end, well that's the bulls*** I believed at the start of the season.

Ata kicked-off with disastrous consequences at 21-20, was Foran on the field?

-5 Foran. Supposed to be the cool head that the team needs in tight games, especially closing out when in front. Was invisible.

3. Fus (our best by a mile. Was in almost everything good we did)
2. SJ (despite playing the entire game injured, put in some nice kicks when we needed them)
1. Ken (just barely)

That game was so winnable!

Too many little stupid moments. Like when Lisone dropped ball on his first second half hitup. Jazz's multiple f**kups (how the hell was he on the field for so long! He's the ultimate hand-brake in attack - slowest play of the ball ever), Ata kicking out on the full, Kata and Maumalo managing to screw up that golden point opportunity at the end, etc. etc.

But thank god for a game that was exciting. Both teams in it until the end. No drop off from us in the last 20! And a glimmer of hope.

This whole season, the forum has spoke about Foran going quiet and thats just hit you now?

If you watched the Warriors throughout the season you'd know Foran doesn't really do kick offs. Its Luke that does them. Ata came on for Luke. ATA made the error NOT Foran. Ata doesn't need Foran to teach him how to kick the ball for kick off, he's a grown man, he's a "professional". He doesn't need Foran holding his hand to do something we know Ata can do.

Blaming others is bad for Atas development. He needs to realise his mistakes. Geez making excuses just like Kearney. You have to like Kearney if you make excuses like him. Thats something Kearney would probably say 'oh it was Forans fault you kicked it out on the full duh duh' oh get real.

Nah the whole team and each member of the team is responsible for their OWN ACTIONS. If you make a mistake, you own that shit.

Foran goes next year and Im happy about that but then who do blame when shit like this happens. Do we blame Johnson for everyone else f**k ups or do we blame that person. If some players need their hands held to wherever then they shouldn't be playing first grade.

Johnson didn't shut the game down well, probably played too conservative, but was strong all round
Tough on Kata and Ken at the end there in golden point, wasn't a great play but the ball should never have gotten past the number 6 and into their hands in that situation, Foran was the one with all the big game experience and earning the big money and took the poorest option available

3. Fus - what a player when he's allowed to be
2. Ken - flawed but ditto, without Kata he'd go fine
1. Johnson - half a body but twice the heart of his buddies

Mannering and Ayshford solid

Foran should be a leader and a steadying hand directing a mob who are clearly inexperienced at guarding leads. His performances are a disgrace. Luke too.

Hoff had a token dig, but what's the point now.

Ata made the mistake but by god Foran, RTS, Hoffman any of the senior players should have been in his ear before he took it going "aim for 20 meters from the goal line, hell even scud it along the ground and sacrifice position, we'll tackle our way out of this, whatever you do don't go long!".

No they shouldn't have. How many kick offs do you see where the experienced players are telling the kicker how to kick it? NONE. You don't need your hand held like you're a boy. He's a professional, did you know that? A professional league player. Geez.

Well you love to hate on Foran and he's going to the Bulldogs. You don't like us so...

Why not Manly forum? lol.

If you read the heading of this forum, you will see "and NZRL" after the Warriors part of things

You can feel free to head to a Dogs forum and pump Forans tyres up though mate :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:. Just call it as I see it, and Foran has been very poor. This time last season I could have easily been called a Johnson hater, because his form was poor, this season he has been very good, which is good for NZRL

Am on a manly forum, too many idiots on there that do my head in though !!
