Probably the type of game we needed. Tough fought, scrappy victory against a limited yet resilient team.

Kudos to the sharks for being hard bastards.

I can't see us winning the comp, not tough enough mentally. Our D and attacking shape go to crap when pressure increases as game wears on. 5/6 is about right.

Fifita. Broken arm and all still made 96m and 31 tackles. I was waiting for him to run out of energy. I reckon if he had stayed on the field the sharks would have won; somehow.

Leuluai is way off song.

On that performance we are not top 4.

Friend, Ikahihifo poor games. Chad, a terrible second half. TL, still finding his feet--don't think i've ever seen him miss as many tackles before.

Last week it was too hard for me to pick 3,2,1s. This week much easier lol. Sharks played their best of the season, i thought. Very desperate.

TL had a relatively poor game in attack, but his defence was excellent. He is easily the best tackling half in the comp at the moment....just we need him to organise the attack.

Was it 2-3 times that Ben Matulino broke the line and did not have a centre or winger backing him up for an easy stroll through for a try?

Knights at home will be harder than that and Warriors HAVE to win next week to make the 8, let alone the top 4.

Yeah I thought that as well. Laumape needed to be in much closer to him and he would have had 4 tries on the night. Matulino looked very dangerous but our attach wasn't good enough to take advantage of it.

Exactly. Could have cost us the game.

Always gets me that his errors get pinpointed by some as "costing us the game", yet those same people never apply the same logic to all the things he does weekly to contribute to wins.

We don't HAVE to win, we should make the 8 with 30 points so we need 2 of our last 4. But I'd rather not have to beat either the Roosters or the Panthers to do that.
