3-Todd Carney. Welcome to the big time. Brilliant performance, led the team better than Smith.
2-Josh Miller. He was everywhere, he plays like a man possesed.
1-Alan Tongue. The man does not know what fatigue is. Tackled his heart out and always put his hand up for a hitup.

3- Croker
2- Graham
1- Miller

Hon. mentions- Howell, Withers, Hindmarsh, Tongue, Shif and Carney- Excellent passing game, made some great kicks, and looked like he was fairly settled out there. Definately a confident player and him being in the starting lineup gave him time to show his skills.. Impressed by his potential, cant wait to see more.

3: Graham - Just about the only 3/4 who's able to find the stripe consistently this year.
2: Croker - I've been disappointed with Toots in the first half of the year, but he's coming home with a wet sail. Defense was rock solid, strong runs, everything needed.
1: Carney - Stood up when Smith was needing time off, game in the balance, and did everything that any Raider fan could've asked for.

Sh!t, what a day. I missed the first 20 mins because at 12:30 I was stuck in Sydney traffic trying to get home and I then had to change a flat tyre at 3:00 just before getting to the stadium, but from what I saw here's me votes...

2. Croker - prob his best game of the year
2. Tongue - great first half from the bloodnut - followed up by a great second half
1. Howell - I don't care what anyone else says...apart from that nearly disasterous in-goal fumble I thought he was everywhere in attack and defence
1. Carney - stick that up ya Tim Smith.

Did we all watch the same game? I though Carney did reasonably well so early in his career, but I just can't see with all the mistakes he made how he could be said to have been one of the best three on the ground.

Having said that, his last 20 minutes, once our pack was well on top, we very good indeed, and bode well for the future.

Anyway,

3 - Miller - As always, made the yards when we needed them
2 - Tongue - Undervalued in this team. Lifts the whole side when he comes on.
1 - Graham - Nice to have the pace out wide. For once, played a smart game

Howell and Croker were unlucky to miss out.
