Melbourne bring it out of most fans with the bullshit in the ruck. Add that with our history with them.

The average fan isn’t stupid and when you continually cop people falling asleep in the play the ball sooner or later your voice box is worn out.

Took mine about 30 minutes to strain. By then end of it I could barely talk. There is no team I despise more.

Good to see the old style fan driven atmosphere take over the humiliating audio cued hype. I put it down to everyone can’t cop cheats.

Come the second half the ref generally gives up policing the Storm. Its like the normalise the slow ruck down and bullshittery so much the ref thinks its situation normal and allow them to get away with murder. The flops, the 3 man peels, the offside markers etc.

1. Billy burns and JC. The side is freshening up. Tieg and Nikora who is prob my fav shark were looking a bit yesteryear. So some selection games afoot. I would be keeping Billy burns at starting. He has started his development toward 100 games and is way on track after not many to be in SOO conversations in '26.

Special mention to the 'experts' for leaving nico out of all SOO conversations.
He is getting back to Dally M days now he has that rubbish out of his system. He is a fair to very good first grade footballer amd hopefully is 2 years of tilting at windmills is over.

Tieg and Nikora who is prob my fav shark were looking a bit yesteryear.

Nikora is an absolute weapon, but I've noticed quite a few defensive lapses this year either directly leading to points or long range breaks.

The Raiders last try was through Brit as one glaring example.
Pretty sure the break leading up to the Storm's first try last night was through him as well.
I'd be loathe to drop him or move him on, but would he benefit from a breather each week?

Billy Burns has earned his spot so maybe he could take DA's position on the bench and play 20 minutes or so on the right edge.

1 - I could go either of the halves, Nico (defends like a mutha trucker) or Bombs away (Trindell), but you can go past Ronnie. Sheer stupidity mixed in with genius. Again, get under the opposition ski, but can back it up with some outrageous plays. Good times
