That was tough to watch. The players looked like they already were thinking about the trip to Brisbane. In the first half we repelled the sharks and when we finally get a chance Maloney bombs it, we score there we probably win.

The Sharks just didn’t make mistakes and deprived us of field position for 60 odd minutes. I though the forwards were rolling ok out of our own end but there was just no imagination with the finish of our sets, it was bomb after bomb after bomb. Mistakes at key points didn’t help either.

The positive was our goal line D, it was rock solid and the fact we almost won whilst only playing for 8 minutes.

Anyways, onwards and upwards for next week I suppose.

EDIT: This Thread should obviously be called Sharks 3 2 1s

Definitly a tough one to watch. Forwards didn't want to do the hard yards with the ball and our halves were horrible. Jimmy and Jnr's decision making in attack was shocking and the boring bomb from 40 out wasn't working either.

just one of them days at the office, RTS aside.

I had that sinking feeling in the first 20 as they just didn't look like they cared. What was worrying was how many yards the sharks were making up the middle. Hopefully Friendy and Jarod are back next week, sad that Guerra's now on the injury list.

The metres gained stats are ugly to look at Babyface. 9 sharkies ran for over 100m and most were their backs who just ran through out middle defence.

Ugly indeed. Also and I don't have the stats, but did it seem to you that Maloney did far more hit ups than a number 6 should do? So either the communication was poor or our forwards were just rubbish.

Yeah I do remember jimmy actually taking a few hit ups one pass off the ruck comin out of our own end. Not what we need him doing, really think Sunday was a case of the boys looking for someone else to roll the sleeves up.

Yea our forwards looked disinterested apart from maybe evans. I think we dont realise how much we miss jwh when he doesnt play. Going to miss guerra aswell.

Aido missing could be handy as surely he'll out long enough to miss origin selection. Only bright light I can see from his injury

No question marks for Jenko, X. Thought he gave the opposition trouble every time he had the ball in his hands. Deserves a point or two.
