I’ll also add in a massive HM for Brailey who apart from an average game last week has looked a changed player for the last month. His running has taken off and putting them on the back foot, finally more than just a shovel merchant. Defence for a player out of position was really good all things considered.

All round great team game, so many put their hands up tonight.

I totally understand the love for Atko, he slipped into "the role" without prejudice.
What I saw tonight though was our two edges, Briton and Tiegh, going to a different level.

Nikora gets the points for me, followed by Brailey.
Then all those middles, they allowed for Atko to play the said role.

Hard to give a 3-2-1 but Atko definitely man of the match.

Fitz has used his bench a lot better this season and and last night a great example. Hunt and BHU didn’t play many minutes but did enough to unsettle the Storm and tire them out in a key time of the match. Excellent.

Thats probably too much praise for one game (or last few actually ) When there is still a huge job to be done , but I feel like the side has truly gone to next level And can continue to next "next level" and go on to greater things.

It certainly is but I put it down to excitement and temporary euphoria.

Getting up for one game is different to getting up for long winning streaks and semis. Premiership winners usually have long winning streaks during the year and obviously handle semis well.

Fact is, the Sharks have done nothing yet and will continue to take things week to week.

1. All the other forwards. We smashed them for most of that second half. Seriously we have a pack of hard merkins who work really hard for each other. Add AFB next year and we might be talking about the best pack the Club has ever had in it’s history when you include what we have on the bench is pretty much equal to who’s starting.
