Fifita, sopoaga, Gordon, gibbs and carney fired today also. Arona in the first half was a monster

Fifita mightve done 200m - but it wasnt an effective 200m.

No line breaks, no offloads and no tries.
He gets a lot of ball running out of our quarter.

Id like to see him get more ball in theirs.

He definitely had an offload in that second half

Fifita also hurt his wrist pretty bad the other week. That probably explains the lack of a fend.

i agree with this partly.

he dropped a couple early and wasn't as potent as he could be for sure.

he was still trouble for the warriors today.

i would say that teams are well aware of him now though, and they step up a lvl to control him.

also thought Heighington had a solid game today
made lots of tackle busts and some great tackles

Gordon (love to see him get more involved...just wish he'd look to pass, now and then!)

He was obviously under instructions to tag along behind the ball carrier - like most of the team were.

He looked so much better for it.

When his teammates get used to him being there, he'll reap the benefits even more so.

The warriors were crap.
Beer wasnt too warm but the sun was.
Good afternoon out.
11,000 odd punters there - not bad considering all the drama

Need more 300pm Saturday games - everyone's a winner.
Especially when you get to sleep through a hangover

Finally our backs scored some tries, I was getting worried they would start to grow mould like the South Sydney backs. Poor old MERRITT will be lucky to score all year the way Maguire plays straight down the middle. Painstakingly boring to watch.

I don't know what they were counting to get 11,000 but it wasn't people.
My guestimate was about 8000.

Although having a game on a Saturday arvo is all about how many people they can get back to the club & how much cash they draw on grog & pokies. So I'm guessing yesterday would have been a success.
