Lunch taken and play expected to get underway at 12:40, weather permitting.

Sessions are now 12:40 to 3:10 and 3:30 to 6:30.

Conditions change. They get paid a shitload to play a game, play the f**king game.

No other sport on the planet sooks as much about weather and shit like cricket.

Seriously how did a game so vulnerable to bad weather ever kick on in England?

If test cricket dies it will be its own fault.
Its about fairness, it’s been a road for 4 days and not one ball has seamed. England going out now to bat with some massive damp spots on the pitch off a good length is totally unfair by no fault of theirs.

Now that they're playing I am secretly hoping the ball lands square on one of these wet spots, be interesting to see how it bounces

It was probably Prince Harry.

England has the best pitch coverings in the world, Australia are still in the dark ages when it comes to covers.
Fair suck of the sav mate. This is the first time it has ever rained in Perth in the cricket season.

I understand that to a degree but at the end of the day these pricks only exist to entertain us - play on!

Isn't test match cricket a bit about how the pitch changes? There was no 16mm wide crack running down the pitch on day one but things went ahead yesterday.

The game needs a good Chappeli story about the last time it rained at the Waca.
And that time their was a helluva shower when his grandfather was at the Waca in 1737.

I bet he has a helluva cure his grandfather used on a damp pitch too

There was a bloke in British Guiana who told my old captain Les Favell, who was a helluva captain, the best way to dry a pitch on the 1952 tour of the West Indies. Helluva story that was.

The pitch hasn’t been altered naturally like one does over 5 days. if the shoe was on the other foot we would be blowing up deluxe.

And rightfully so.

If they hadn’t had conceded so many runs, they wouldn’t be in this position. In fact, they might be in a position to exploit them
