Woeful session
Johnson and Hussey - don't leave straight balls. Yes Johnsons may've been a tad high but when you dont offer a shot you are asking for trouble, you learn that right through juniors.

Aussies can't play swing because the ball rarely swings in Australia. All the Aussie decks are too dry which doesn't allow for swing even with overcast conditions. Also the training wickets in Aus always suit batsman not bowlers.

This is quite amusing.

I would usually be filthy at us copping a smashing but I'm so pissed off with our useless selectors that I desperately want them to be shown up for the idiots that they are.

Dump Hughes for an all-rounder that is not an opener, play Hussey too far up the order, keep Johnson in the team and refuse to play Clark.

I'd like to say they will finally learn their lesson but listening to Merv at the lunch break they have no hope.

We were always in trouble when a Victorian was apart of selection panel. Bring AB back as selector and chuck Warney in with him.

give the ballers 2 piece balls in the nets, they swing plenty, the problem is the Kookaburra 4 piece has a wide flat seam and doesn't swing much not like the Duke ball used in England which has a narrow high seam.

Yep I agree although still need to get more moisture in the wickets. Cricket is so worried about making money they make wickets that will last 5 days no matter what.

I say throw the willow now and make the most of the conditions today.. Funnily enough the last time Johnson left a ball and got given out LBW he had South Africa in all sorts.

He left one in either the 1st or 2nd Test that resulted in the LBW I believe. Might have been bowled.

What i don't understand is what has Clarke done wrong to get the selectors swayed against him? Have they forgotten how great he was for us when he was at full health.

2nd test LBW to Ntini, directly after he broke SMiths hand and gave Kallis some stitches and took 3 early wickets. Hopefully he fires up repeats.

I just hope our bowling attack is able to do the same on that wicket. I know it might be wishful thinking though
