That'll do me for the night. Wonderfully poised test match, hope to see us with 2-3 wickets claimed by stumps. The runs are on the board, it's all about the bowlers doing their part now. Get through that top order and we'll be golden.

Too early to declare imo .

Not a massive gripe , but considering how poor our batting has been this series I say take the runs when they're coming .

Especially with 32 overs still left today.

I just want to say right now - as they stand, Lyon is a significantly better bowler than Agar.

Yep..immediately clear from the first over. Lots of revs. Unlucky not to have Cook..

Yes there is. The difference between the number of revs that Lyon gets compared to Agar is massive

Seriously ?!

Despite the name , there's more to spin bowling than spinning the ball.

Flight , pace and accuracy play a huge part.

That's not to say I don't think Lyon is better. I just don't think its significant and I do think it takes more than just a few overs to judge.

Let's see what Lyon can do over the two innings.

We've seen in previous tours that Lyon is fairly accurate. He's flighting it and drifting it very nicely so far, and most importantly looks threatening...Something that Agar was not on the first 2 pitches he played on, which also spun.

As I said , it's just a few overs. Let's see the whole test first.

I'm not saying that Lyon is a world beater..just comfortably ahead of Agar at the moment.
