Well here we all are for game 3, starting tomorrow (Sunday)

Notch will be back, ensuring a far closer game than the one we had yesterday, Happy days

My prediction: England to win this one

Cheers

dont think we'll see too many more innings like that from the rug, he's pretty much a batting bunny but plays with alot of passion

They will pick Doherty to replace Hauritz, I don't think there is any doubt about that. Hopefully Hastings can get a game in SYdney

Hehe

Doherty is alright in this format, would like to see if he can reproduce what he did on debut in saying that unless Hauritz is ruled out that will be for nothing a bit like Marsh's knock. Although that might have helped his Test chances.

Siddle has been called into the squad as cover also... Johnson not likely to play tomorrow by the sounds of things.

fmd, what has SOK gotta do

they obviously did see him last night on a pitch that offered nothing to the spinners

the selectors obviously liked what they saw from siddle in last nights big bash.:sarcasm:

i'd have both nana or pattinson in before him.
I still fail to see what Siddle has ever done to get a spot in the ODI team???? He has a sh*thouse record and just sucks all round. Every time he is in the same team he gets totally outbowled by Pattinson.

Latest from http://www.espncricinfo.com/the-ashes-2010-11/engine/match/446964.html

the weather is perfect.
But in not so good news for England, Kevin Pietersen has a groin strain and will not play, and Tim Bresnan is also out with a calf injury. The teams are not yet official, but it seems likely Paul Collingwood might come in, and Chris Woakes could get an opportunity.

For Australia, Shaun Tait hurt his thigh during Friday's win, and he won't play. Nor, of course, will Nathan Hauritz, after that gut-churning shoulder dislocation he suffered in the field. Hauritz will have arthroscopic surgery in a bid to make him available for the World Cup, though I'm sure Xavier Doherty senses a door has been pushed ajar for him.

1.50pm Andrew Strauss has won the toss and England will bat.
Shaun Marsh, has been promoted to No. 3.
John Hastings is in the side to replace the injured Tait, and as expected, Xavier Doherty comes in for Hauritz.

Happy with the team, I want to see what Hastings has to offer. Good to see Marsh at 3 he is a top order player IMO.

Good move moving Marsh up, this is his true test as he has struggled with his strike rate when in the top order.
