Why is this in Canberra? Fmd

Because as shitty a town as it is, it's the nations capital? It's a farce there isn't more cricket here. f**king Hobart gets test matches....

I'll be there, merkins better not suck like tonight. That said it'll probably rain, it always does when I go to games here regardless of the forecast.

All jokes and sledging aside, today is a sad day for Australian cricket - our youngest ever player and youngest captain Ian Craig has died. Losing a game of cricket doesn't seem so bad now.

so true

RIP Ian

Big Show OUT, Doherty in. Can't be any worse with the bat and can bowl better

Big show out? is he playing a shield game in preparation for the first test?

Sadly, Maxwell is about as good a spinner as Doherty. So you may as well play him on the Manuka road, where he might get some runs.

At number 8 I'd rather select a specialist bowler thanks and Doherty goes at 5 an over at worst, usually less. In fact dropping the Big Show, don't forget how good the Brayshaw whinge will be!

Prefer Cummins over Starc.

Starc has been a work in progress for years but doesn't seem to progress much.

Starc has the talent but can't bowl the good consistent line,he is a bit like a younger version of Mitch johnson in which they bowl all over the shop,Johnson was able to rectify this problem eventually, lets hope one day Starc can.
