I know it doesn't matter in the overall scheme of things, but when was the last time Australia actually chased a total? Other than in a dead rubber game.

Stupid decision to field first again. Just because it worked before doesn't mean it'll keep working when conditions are so favoured towards a team batting first, especially when you've got 2 spinners in the team as opposed to Australia who only have a couple of makeshift spinners.

Sad thing is most people in Brisbane will still tune into the channel 9 news out of habit when they should be boycotting the geniuss. What's even sadder is they'll probably give a live updated score during the news and then start the NZ innings from the beginning again.

I'm convinced NZ will lose, unfortunately for me, and they've already displayed a serious lack of forward thinking by putting Australia into bat, but that's beside the point.

If they advertise it as live then they should play it live, or at the very least make people aware of these sorts of things beforehand instead of sneaking it in. I actually thought there'd been a rain delay before I came online to learn the horrible truth.
