It wasn't the right decision, and was NEVER going to be the right decision. The NZ "brains trust" had decided to bowl first before they even touched down in Sydney. A serious inability to think ahead and adapt.

Watch NZ's batting crumble as the pitch slows down in the evening (which would of suited NZ perfectly) causing NZ to falter as they attempt to maintain a high RRR.
