Obviously you meant Haddin Fails again.
Hussy wasn't batting at his fluent best there but not getting enough of the strike from hopes can have that effect.
As for Hussy failing again 3 50's in 7 innings i'd hardly call that failing. I'd have to say Haddins full of more fail than Dussy seeing in 32 innings he's only managed one more 50 than Hussy there but then again he's from NSW doesn't matter how ordianary he goes you'll ignore it.

And they were calling for Haddin to open just the other day.

Or how many runs he leaks as byes he is great.

Pretty sure, just personally, the "middle order being despicable" includes Haddin....however, in 80 odd deliveries, Hopes and Hussey should have scored at least 80 runs, if not 90-100. They got around 60

Johnson gone, trying to hit out after being left a sh*tload to do by Hops and Hussey
Hard to take risks when there is an extremely long tail to follow, should they have tried to smash Botha out of the ground earlier and been stumped therefore leaving the tail 10 overs to bat?

Oh and Aqua Duck, I dont have anything against Haddin in the side, but he is better suited to late order hitting rather than moving up the order as everyone wants, but just find it funny most prefer to criticise Hussey

Hussey was scoring at almsot a run a ball.

It is not his fault Hopes sucks except for his ability to get a run on the last ball of the over.

The Aussie middle order has been a joke this series.. Hussey has been crap Dussey has been ok and Haddin has been rubbish I tkink he needs to bat at 4 or 5.. I am glad The Aussies played 5 bowlers today I reckon they will need them all.

How the f**k is it risky to take a single? Is it that hard to hit the ball in the gap and get your ass to the other end? Not blaming just Hussey, Hopes has been worst.

Victorians should be banned from the Aus cricket team

let them play in their little leagues and wank over the chicken bashing

Extremely long tail? Johnson is as good as Hopes and Hauritz can hold the bat....so your "long tail" is Bracken (who can hang around if needed) and Tait. Try again.

They don't need to take risks to get 5-6 an over, and they were perfectly entitled to take risks with 5 in hand once the 40th over rolled around. They just kept noodling it around and defending balls they could have worked for runs...it was a poor partnership

What? You were claiming the batsmen should all follow Johnsons lead, slog a couple of boundaries and get out, so Aussies all out for 100 off 10 overs

When the f**k did I say the batsmen should follow Johnson? I said hes showing them how it's done i.e hitting the gap. Isn't that what you should do as a batsmen? Or should they continue to hit the fielder....

They were probably scared off by the amount of run out chances they were creating early on

Ummm hitting the gap means no fielder which means no risky single. Hit the gap you get an easy single, hit it to the fielder and you get a dot ball.

You mean the same Mitchell Johnson whose 10 runs today was actually above his average?

and apparently Hussey batted excellently

No one said he batted excellently. But he did an ok job today better than anyone else in the middle order.... 36 runs from 44 balls is a good return not excellent..
But you are so blinded by your hate for victoria you can't see that just like you ignore the fact that out of he's 7 innings he's returned 3 50's... But according to you he always fails, you seriously have no real clue to what actually happens just what plays out in your own head.
