I thought Ponting and Clarke got good balls. And there was plenty of movement. The bowlers will enjoy this i think.

they need to be batting til half way into day 4. Even more important than runs is for them to survive as long as possible

It usually is that is one of the problems with the Aussie innings that it just wasn't long enough, batting time goes without saying but if they get 350 by about lunch day 4 then 150 is going to be a tricky target.

Having said that I expect them to get about 270 odd which won't be enough.
