I don't put a lot of stock in Hawkeye tbh. I thought it was quite comfortably outside the line

Because it allows for errors in the technology. Which, to be honest, if they think there's that much margin for error, it should just be green. At least assuming the possibility of an error and given BOTD to the batsman is consistent.

I actually think there should be a botd with hawkeye because batsmen arent brought up dealing with a computer that goes beep boop 1mm of the ball was clipping the stump beep boop you are out and its something that as it stands will be imteresting to deal with if computers take over umpiring

Yeah thought the throw was a lot worse than it was tbh. Catching still a concern though. Hope that Smithy's drop won't be a massive turning point
