Is the pitch still that bad??? SA just batted crap early and now we are bowling crap.

I'm getting sick of this Faf merkin.

The pitch isn't bad at all despite what derpfactor says. Every wicket bar Amla's suicide has been as a result of good bowling on a first day pitch that is rightly offering something to bowlers who are willing put their back into it and bowl decent line and length. And as these two batsmen are showing if you play each ball on its merits you can score runs. A perfect 1st day pitch which will probably quicken up tomorrow if the sun comes out.

Exactly. Been good bowling, but very poor batting. Just because they're 6 for f**k all, doesn't make the pitch a minefield.

It's just baffling that this tool can bowl short and wide with no movement all day when the likes of Starc and Hastings are making the ball talk. And great fielding by the f**kstick too.
