Special effort by Mcgain that  Harris carves up, and McGain is hammered...

Wow - White, Krezja, Hauritz, and McGain - what a team :D

good enough to spank the kiwis though,

and also win the unwinnable series in SA .....ouch

Johnsons batting average now in tests in almost 35
He batted like a few of SA's top order bats, our batsman just didnt want to be there. I think Punter may be mentally drained and couldnt give a rats ass in this dead rubber. though looking back, even with our best side over the years, we generally havent gone to well in dead rubbers against better nations

Little bit defensive there PB?

To be honest, beating us at test cricket is not really anything you should crow about...

And, as I recall the superb talent that is Aaron Redmond (supressed mirth) gave the most economical of your quadruple spin threat a right bashing

And, just so you're clear, I was laughing at your spin bowling - which to be blunt is attrocious... if only we could trade you Jeetan Patel, Bruce Martin, or Nathan McCullum... for a top order bat or two - both countries would be strengthened!

Not sure what exclusive knowledge you hold on claiming our spin bowling is crap, it is as obvious as day and night. Our spin stocks is as laughable as the kiwi test side, but then again we both know that

Winning in SA without a spinner and a green pace attack is one massive achievment. Not too many nations can crow about that ;-)

Not sure how we will go in the ashes, certainly wont be raging favourites I dont think

No, but winning a series in South Africa against this quality Saffas side is.

Johnson has always had the technique just needs the concentration.

amazing how in one dayers he is totally crap, cant get going even for a little cameo, averages around 8 per dig

still, he has only played 21 tests, lets see his stats over the next 18 mths

f**k we need a spinner.

Pass on any who have served in the last 18 months.

Try a young bloke.

I reckon he needs a bit more time at the crease, he can't go any worse than White has.

JJ wasn't really having a go. Our spinners are garbage and wouldn't make the Kiwi side.

I haven't seen an Australian bowler destroyed in a test match quite like that.

Great ton by Johnson, looks like Nuffy MacDonald will save his spot. I wonder if we will even take a spinner to England??? Katich and North look to be better than anything else we have anyway.....

Symonds' stupidity all but confirms Nuffy McDonald will go on the ashes tour.
