Good session for the Windies, their challenge is to play well across multiple sessions - that remains to be seen

Australian attack doesn't look quite so good without 500+ runs already on the board.

And M Marsh in the field etc moves with the ease, grace and fluidity of Shane Watson

Spinners look good but quicks underwhelming. Need a much improved post-lunch session here.

Yeah he is pretty slow. It's noticeable at the game. There are a few slow pokes in the current side.

It was always going to be hard graft bowling first. It looks like its going to take spin. Just got to bowl good lines and take our chances.

You wonder if a few of them (Watson and M Marsh) spend too much time o weights and not enough on agility

Smith's had a great time with the tosses (and then Holder's decision) - the Windies are crap, but still if they can put together 450+ the game could be interesting

Interesting to hear Bill in the commentary box again. First time in 3 years he's commentated outside of the Boxing Day Test. Wonder what inspired him to make the trip up to Sydney?

I think Chris Martin has been Marlon Samuel's personal batting coach

Samuel's was a promising player once - that's about the worst innings I've ever seen from a test bat - yes, Pattinson and Lyon were bowling well, but like I said Chris Martin could have done that

Has anyone mentioned before that Steve smith is like a clone of Steve Waugh, I swear the batting is exact
