You really are getting old JJ- why go on about the team being old geriatrics? Just makes the rest of the world look stupid if they can beat old men.[/quote]

glad to see you're still preoccuped with every post I make furry - :D

if you could read, you would see that I was suggesting that the current Australian pitches do little other than artificially pad batsmen's averages.

two of the finest bowlers ever to play the game deserve better...

but you get all precious and defensive and take it the wrong way

very negative move I thought

does nothing for Harmy's confidence either
I didn't think he had any.

The minute he steps on a plane in England, his confidence stays behind at the airport and farewells him from the lounge

Geez Hayden has been lucky. Edge through 3rdish slip and now a huge swing and miss.

I got no idea why the selectors will be afraid to drop Hayden now

Especially if we win this test match

Best thing about Hayden - he's winning me money. First man out @ the tab = easy money.

Just on Harmison though - he still isn't bowling terribly well, but I thought his run-up and action looked a lot more relaxed in his short spell so far. He's losing a bit of speed, but everything looks smoother. I think as he eases into this game he'll use that smoother action to build his speed and confidence. There's f*ck all in the pitch for him though, so ultimately it won't do him much good wickets-wise.

Hayden was trying to be the flat track bully he is and the ball was moving about. He chased a wide one early in Adelaide to for the same result. If they decide to keep him during the series it shouldn't be any longer than that.....

You can't give that out LBW in Perth. Going over the top I say.
