His ODI averages are hugely inflated because of exactly this.

I must say that although I will be very happy if we can draw it, I will be somewhat suspicious given that India only needed 31 off 10 overs with 7 wickets in hand. They should've easily ran this one home, but some of this batting - especially from Dhoni - is somewhat questionable. Reminds me a lot of the 2010 SCG test. I honestly can't believe the game is as close as it is.

wouldn't be surprised if Tendulkar being sacrificed by Dhoni means that he is one match away from retirement. Maybe that was the icing on the cake. I'd be extremely surprised if Tendulkar plays beyond this series.
