Would have only needed another 20 runs in the bank and we would have drawn probably. Enjoyable match overall but yeah depressing 2nd innings from Australia again.

Another 20 runs would've also chewed up another 5-10 overs or so, hence 153 off 26-31 overs at more than 5 r/o required would've been very close

A draw was never on the cards, I don't get the hate towards Dhoni, was pretty clear Siddle and Starc were bowling beautifully to him and bogged him down. Got there in the end with the help of Jadeja.

Imagine if patto was there in the place of D'oh, could have been a totally different game. Lol what could have been.

This is arguably India's "Mike Hussey vs England" or "Australia beat West Indies" at the end of day 5 match

Should have bowled the spinners in the last hour to reduce "the minimum overs remaining", thats what a team like England or South Africa would have done
