Was watching a video on former English fast bowler Derek 'deadly' Underwood on YouTube not long ago. Bowlers like him are definitely a lost asset in cricket today. Underwood absolutely hated conceding singles and were able to bowl for long periods of time with accuracy and precision.

I look at Lyon's field placings and there's just too many easy singles for the batsmen, especially on a pitch that isn't offering the spinners as much as the first two tests. With the constant rotation of the batting strike, it makes it nearly impossible for the bowler to build momentum.

Cummins with no support. Haze fairly economical but not much else. We need a minimum of 3 wickets this session. If they get through unscathed, India heavy favourites to win the test imo

I'm a big fan of Pujara.

Very much a classical test batsman and a joy to watch.

Arguably a better test bat to date than Kohli.
Averages 62 at home 33 away.
9 hundreds at home 2 away.

Pretty much a Schoolie Warner.

Kohli at least has done a bit away from India. 56 at home 44 away. 7 hundreds at home 9 away.

He's a prick but he can bat.

Can't argue with those stats.

I thought he was better away from home.

So he's just a more classical hometown Davey.

He had had shocking tours of countries one would associate with pace bowling. England, australia, new zealand. Surprisingly ok in south africa though.

He looks very solid at the crease but has disappointed outside of india

I'm listening to the coverage, but I wish someone would record his innings and send it to Warner. He could learn a lot from the patience Pujara has shown.

Australia doing well to fight back, the runs have suddenly dried up. We may well get a half decent first innings lead afterall.
