NZ 9/682

who is that commentator that bagged kiwis for batting on ?

said a 200 lead is not different to a 300 run lead and NZ might regret batting on if they cant bowl them out. There is more than 5 and a half sessions left LOL

Rameez Raja - he is a really funny commentator. Some of the stuff he comes up with makes Danny Morrison look completely sane

Boult having one of those spells he seems to have every few tests.

690 is NZ's highest ever test score

Pak 3/30 at lunch, still 309 behind

If NZ win by an innings and 186 runs or more, it will be their best win over Pakistan ever. No mean feat in their own backyard

The Black Caps scored 690 in just over a day and a half, that is insane, should romp this test in with ease from here, very impressive considering pretty much everyone has been creamed by the Pakis in the UAE.

I think the most impressive thing for me is the fact they lost the toss....

Which has been crucial in these UAE test matches.

And now for 88 awards.

That said, well played to both teams.

Was a hard time for all.

Well done to NZ

Was a hard test match for all.

Cant help to think if Pakistan were fatigued playing 5 tests in 6 weeks (1st test v Australia commenced on the 18th October). They were certainly unimpressive in their first innings (other than hafeez). I wonder how much of an impact Phil Hughes passing had as they did crumble badly after Phils passing. Did Pakistan go backwards with the news? did the kiwis gather strength from it? Or were the kiwis just too good? Maybe it was a combination of all of the above? ?

But a good result for test cricket nonetheless despite the demolition

Rameez gave us a real hype job before the first test - saying how our bowling attack made us much more of a threat than Australia. Good to see us live up to the hype :D

I think we are potentially a very good side - main weakness remains the top order crumble. While nobody is express, the pace attack is very dangerous

Fine performance, not quite sure what to make of it as both teams affected, but the right way to recognise Hughes, classy all round I thought
