Better all round peformance...yes, I do agree to a degree. But IMHO, it was great they showed far more spirit today after the criticism fired at them, but the scoreline flattered somewhat and although they started very well with a hiss and a roar the same lack of anything was evident in large parts of the game. It was far more one sided than the scoreline suggested. Partly due to GB, let's be honest- They're not a bad side! ;-) But I don't know if they've gained anything through the series. I can't help but feel most of the effort put in today was to stick it to critics of the past week, but that will only last for so long.
More experienced players returning to the fold would no doubt help, but still big issues off the field for them IMO. Some good players there but they just don't seem to be a team. Is it unfair to knock them for that during such a big rebuilding process through all aspects of the team and coaching squad? I'm torn on that, all I know is far more experienced people through the game with huge mana have issues with what is happening, and I'm more inclined to believe them than someone affiliated in this matey NZRL system.
