Was it just me or did Fui only play about 10 minutes?

Anyway, better performance, showed that Roberts should have been playing 5/8th the whole series. Perret has impressed me, and Stanley did alright on debut minus a couple of drops.

I was feeling a lot better about things in the first 15-20mins especially on attack there was some life. Mistakes cost us in the last 20mins of the half.
A lot more heart which was great, but I wondered if I felt better about the things was because last time it was 44-0. If it had been a close game last time around I don't think I would of had the same feeling. A loss is still a loss.
The attack seemed to have lost it composure after that first 15-20mins, or was it that we had used all of our plays in our play book?

Stanley had a great game for a rookie and Roberts much better than aussie test. Good goal kicking by Jeremy Smith. Mannering keeps stepping up. The bench made NO impact.
We just seem to be missing the injured player.
GB defence is great, would love to see them up against the Aussies.

Does Kemble stay?

We will see what happens against the French!

Roberts was good.... wasnt it refreshing to see the kiwis actually firing shots at the GB defence. i want to see roberts at 7 so Benji can goto 6.

now that shifty has left the dogs benny roberts will have to play the role of organising halfback for the dogs. thats what the kiwis really need to bring the best out of Benji. if both Roberts and Marshall fire next year then we will put 50 on england.

Kemble still has no clue how to work an interchange bench.

was that kemble or Sky uk's graphics. ?
The seconed half was like a merry go round. Lance was on for about 3 mins then hooked.

Did anyone else think the kiwis lifted when lance and hame came on ?

I thought Hame was quite quiet, and I thought Lance looked aimless.
But then saying that, it was an improvement on Halatau who's passing looked laboured.

As for our midget second row, I thought Smith came out with some credit, and Lui was Lui.
Didn't miss terribly many tackles between them.

Agreed with all that is written on this subject.

Asotasi can hold his head up from this series and deserves to have the french test off. If we can show the same attitude today against the French then we should win, but im not overly confident

Better all round peformance...yes, I do agree to a degree. But IMHO, it was great they showed far more spirit today after the criticism fired at them, but the scoreline flattered somewhat and although they started very well with a hiss and a roar the same lack of anything was evident in large parts of the game. It was far more one sided than the scoreline suggested. Partly due to GB, let's be honest- They're not a bad side! ;-) But I don't know if they've gained anything through the series. I can't help but feel most of the effort put in today was to stick it to critics of the past week, but that will only last for so long.
More experienced players returning to the fold would no doubt help, but still big issues off the field for them IMO. Some good players there but they just don't seem to be a team. Is it unfair to knock them for that during such a big rebuilding process through all aspects of the team and coaching squad? I'm torn on that, all I know is far more experienced people through the game with huge mana have issues with what is happening, and I'm more inclined to believe them than someone affiliated in this matey NZRL system.
