To be fair, I thought Hiku played really well at 6. But he's injured, no?
I don't like Harris at 6 because he is so damaging playing second row on the edge.
Lolohea could be good - showed his skills last year. Obviously hasn't had time to settle in one position this year for the warriors.

Kata playing for NZ is just as sad as Semi playing for NZ.

For the millionth time, the only solution is to tighten eligibility rules and increase matches and incentives for 2nd tier countries.

- RESIDENCY: 6 years (from 3 years)
- PARENTS: Country of Parent's birth or Citizenship (Grandparent rule scrapped)
- BIRTH
- SWITCHING: At most once every 4 years, moving towards one nation for life eventually.

TESTS: 6 matches for every nation every year.
MATCH PAYMENTS: Minimum payments determined by international rank.

But the RLIF has no money and will go the opposite direction, and the NRL is unwilling or uncaring to improve the situation.

Yeah agree we need to get rid of the grandparent rule. Happy if they make your nation choice reset after a world cup - there's your balance for those advocating for one nation for life (with a 2 year stand down period).

Yeah. My idea for the short-medium term is basically that you lock in your 4 year eligibility after each WC ends. No change until the end of the next one. Not concerned about stand downs.

Would hardly be a Tier 2 without the grandparent rule. Nation swapping is the least of international rugby leagues problems. First thing that needs to be done is locking in finally a 4 year cycle of fixtures. Keep on messing with the calendar and we'll keep on having these current problems.
