todd greenberg said..

'Swearing at match officials is not acceptable and I put a full stop on that sentence, because it is really not acceptable.

'I know our match review (committee) will look closely at those incidents.

'There are requirements under the code, things like contrary conduct and detrimental conduct which will all form part of that review and, if there are penalties that need to be imposed, I expect the match review (committee) will discharge their duties accordingly.'

obviously JT is teflon lol

Sam Tomkims out for season/year due to foot injury. I haven't followed him that closely, but he appears to be out of sorts completely. Would he have been starting fullback for England?

Injuries starting to mount for England, concerning.

It's merely an outsider perspective, apologies as I know little how the domestic English squad is going. Ryan Hall still first choice for wing right?

Jason Taumalolo in doubt for Four Nations according to SMH. Will need to pass a medical, may need knee surgery. Who knows if it'll be the Cowboys or NZ doctor who decides.

^I never expected the Cowboys to release him, and I doubt they'll ever let him tour again. He'll play World Cups but that's about it.

I'll be shocked if he plays for us this year.

They'll always release players for Aus though.

Hall is lucky there have been injuries.Manfredi from Wigan would've been first picked.Between Burgess & Macgilvray for the other spot.

But they release Thurston every year, their most important player? I hear what you're saying, but would weird logic by the Cowboys - Unless they have serious concerns on his injuries and career.

Because Thurston plays for Australia. They also couldn't stop him if they tried.

They're basically saying that Taumalolo has the exact same knee injury as what he had last year when he was ruled out of the tour of England. As a Kiwi fan that's very hard to swallow. We'll see what happens, but I don't hold much hope.

At least the Cowboys try and make excuses. The Roosters ruled RTS & JWH out for "burnout".

Seems like Gaz Ellis is considering coming out of retirement. Had a good season but by his own admission he was selected in the dream team (2nd row of the year) because he had a proper off season not playing internationals.

Doesn't have the luxury of a nice long NRL off season these days! Expect it might be dependent on how Hull go in the run up to the grand final, but he's certainly got the respect of the Aussie players

Wait for it .. wait for it..

Jarrod Croker and BJ Leilia are on doubt for Kangaroo selection due to injuries suffered in the match against Melbourne. Croker has strained ligament in left kneww, and BJ has his hamstring. Canberra has "announced" both will undergo rehabilitation. Triple M says they will struggle to pass Kangaroo medical (if they even get that far, lets be honest).

To be fair, those 2 guys were clearly injured during the game. Now I don't know the severity of their injuries, but I doubt Stuart would keep 2 guys out of the squad and stop them from finally getting their due. The experience would also do our squad the world of good, and Stuart's on the record saying he wants our players playing rep footy.

Smith made sure Croker wasn't going to make the tour. As for BJ, he was clearly in discomfort during the game. When Koroibete makes that break down the sideline, he looked to be badly struggling to even attempt to stride out. He was replaced not long after.

I hope they can recover in time, but I don't see it happening.
