4 wise men

Well it appears the old stoogers regime is finally crumbling. Although you won't here it from 80% of Tigers fans who seem happy to accept a team that has lost close to 60% of their games since the GF victory. The 4 wise men that told us after the grand final that we were the next Man U of the NRL, instead we have had to settle for something that has resembled Oldham FC.

Head coach Mr Shine has always had a considerable ego. The man has 4 premierships and a grew a significant beard the season after one particular triumph. What Mr Shines won't be too keen to announce is the 20% win ratio he is carrying with him since the 1994 Grand Final. This is a man who has made the finals 1 in his last 10 seasons. The media talk about him as the supercoach. The same master coach that drops P Whaturia and makes D Fitzhnery captain. The same master coach that gave us the prizee signings of Daniel Galea, Johnothon Morris and Peter Lewis. Not to mention Slamming Sam Harris from the Brisbane Bullets, That turd J Lo, and a couple of expensive pillows in Hard Man OHara and woeful Galloway.

Then we move on his loveable sidekick Mr Tabworld Simmons. The minister of defence has been drawing up his defensive game plans at Sizzlers on a Thursday night for years. He snail mails these plans to Head Coach Sheens and they are processed regular on Sunday Afternoons. Mr Tabworld has been responsible for a defence that has come in the bottom 4 teams the last 3 seasons. Mr Tabworld considers anything under 30 points as a victory for his defensive gameplans. The guru is hanging around for the top job once sheens goes and make no mistake he will be a flop, same as he was like when he did a disgraceful job at Penrith over a number of years, collecting a well deserved wooden spoon in 2001.

Then of course you have Mr Poker face Ronald Mcdonald. The man with the midas touch. The man who will raise The Belrose Bullants representative 50C and snare Peter lewis. The man who carries his pair of 3s in Danny Galea as a prized signing. The man who gives his son a three year deal when the likes of Whaturia and Hodgo are squeezed out. the man who throws his hat in the ring for every top liner and runs a distant 6th in every race.

Presiding over all mess is Steven Noyce. The man who would take a home game to Malaysia if it meant a $100 profit.

The future could not be any better. 7 losing seasons out of a possible 8. Shines, Tabworld, Ronald, and Noyce are all untouchables though. Let the good times roll.

There are a lot of delluded posters on this forum who sprout the same saccharine bullsh*t about Shines being the second coming of David baysarri or Aum Shinriyko. You are a luminary amongst the bildge water of dimwits...

Spot on CDF. Satire is often funny because it is so painfully close to the truth. Your post confronts every one of the issues and uses facts to outline the job each of the 4 wise men are doing. If things keep going as sh*t as they are I can see a tasty (well at Balmain at least) AGM/WT info day coming up. 16 weeks in 05 have bought all of those considerable time it appears but from the general mood it appears the worms are turning ...

It's a pity CDF. Your posts used to contain amusing satire. But unfortunatley if anyone has read more than 6 of your posts it gets really old and repetitve really quickly.

For instance as soon as you see the topic you can ussume.

1. You are trying desperatley to be funy
2. You will mention Sizzler
3. You will call Waren McDonnell Ronald McDonald
4. You would only make suc statements under your pseudonym as you are an abject coward of a human being. Say what you want about Mulli but at least he is upfront

Everyone here is using a pseudonym though smeg. No one is posting under J Barnes, 22 Glover St, Lilyfield, 2040. The Ronald thing is obviously a play on words and given we have junior burger in the clan we might soon be giving the world's most famous franchise a run for their money.

We could even have a doco made for us by Morgan Spurlock of Supersize Me fame:
`Supercoach Me' - How the Wests Tigers conned the rugby league world into believing a coach with a sub 40% win ratio since 1996 is classed a supercoach

Yes but I am talking about pseudonym in the sense that this poster also has another account on LU and the Tigers forum.

Rather than actually express their true opinion under their main account they attempt to do so via comedy.

I understand having a joke account but when it is used to express opinions one is too gutless to express under their main account the person obviously suffers from cowardice and has major issues.

It is no more cowardice than anyone else on the net though to be honest. How many people actually have their true identities disclosed. The CDF thing is surely just a persona and I don't see a problem with it. The issues he mentioned above, although portrayed in a satirical, witty manner all go close to the issues I and many others have tried to raise on here re the direction the club is heading in. Such discussion of the issues which are real and not perceived can only be healthy

The next Balmain AGM could get quite interesting for you ?

CDF--They are a lot of people in tiger town who have the 4 wise men on a throne and blindly worship them. They dont want to know
1----mr super coach has a winning record over the past decade right up their with
Alan Jones
2---The joint recruitment efforts of Ronald and Tim are equal to the great South qld
crushers in terms of signing marquee duds
3---Royce,well what can you say our defense is nearly up to the old wests standard
before the merger, when anything under fifty was a great effort
4--Than we have noycee, the man who has given us not one but 5 home grounds.

CDF its nice to know you have yours eye open because their are plenty who dont

Hahaahaha ... For Ryan O'Hara read Garrick Morgan
Sheens' blind faith in fitzy is like Jones' to Cameron Douglas and John Morris is Brian Smith .. although Brian Smith at least had a massive boot on him
And to think there are many that want Royce to take over when Shines goes ... they obviously became league fans after 2001 and missed watching that fine Penrith side he steered to the spoon

The truth coming out and more people coming round can only be good. It will force change and action. The squeaky wheel makes the most noise and if enough voices ask for change then we'll get it. As the song says `the public gets what the public wants' ... albeit eventually

There was a lot more to that spoon the Royce. There were goings on there that are simular to the problems they have now.... and that blame shouldnt fall on Royces shoulders.. there is a lot more to it.. just ask Lang.

THat's right. None of it was Royce's fault. Just like none of it is his fault that our defence has been among the worst in the comp every year. Jesus Christ.
