Of course. They just have to wait til the nasty Aussies and kiwis aren't making the rules and the refs aren't all cheats or conflicted. Apparently. Yeah they were on home turf, the international rules are actually closer to SL rules and they had a pom ref, but but it's still a big conspiracy against them...nothing to do with them being a pack of losers.

I haven't actually heard anyone complain about the result so I don't know what's triggered you.

Phil Gould sounds depressed. Why are ch9 using someone who sounds like he doesn't give a sht about the game?
He doesn't like test matches, and he's admitted it.

Ch7 will shot all over 9's commentary for the WC Next year

Which is a bit ironic considering he called Bennett's post-match interview rubbish because he gave the same interview he always does.

I understand it though, he was due for his glass of milk and going to bed before the game even started.

There was some hull whinging before the game. But any loss always ensures every conspiracy theory and sob story. One day the poms will win and miraculously all these terrible adversities will have been solved.

Just watched the replay - avoided the score all do so was on the edge of my seat.

All I can say is I've never been so behind an England team in anything to win a match lol

Such a shame - for the majority of the match I reckon they were the better side but just silly errors and poor attacking options in the Kiwis 20 just let them down big time. Obviously didn't help that they gifted a ridiculously telegraphed intercept to Johnson though...

Only just saw the game today, England seem intent on picking small back rowers in guys like Bateman and or Farrrell, I don't think they are effective at test level, I would bring in Scott Taylor and start Cooper in place of Bateman, also start with George Williams cos his running game is needed.

Bullocks. If we do ever won anything again it will be because we have overcome all the adversities you lot put in front of us.

This is a joke by the way.

Apparently it was also because the kiwis had trainers on the field all the time and England didn't. I can't say I remember them making tackles or running the ball but maybe I didn't watch closely enough.

The made up ones in his head.

Ref had a good game, far better than the crap two NRL refs serve up every week.

Only difference between the two teams was at halfback. Two world class packs (the best in the world), two average sets of backs, difference was Shaun Johnson. When you are relying on Widdop to run the show and create attack you know you're in dire trouble!

A bit of an aside, but can both England and NZ please stop using BLK for their jerseys? They just look like such shit and cheap quality - this is the pinnacle of the game guys, so please go with a quality kit maker like Canterbury, Addidas... heck, even ASICS would be a step up

ffs...that's the game anytime, anywhere. On the day the better team always wins....because mistakes cost games which means you weren't the better team on the day. Next time the better team will win...its not rocket science

That's a bit pedantic - you know what I mean. England dominated the game for the majority of it and if not for a very silly intercept they win.

Can't really agree on the ref, thought he was pretty average. Ten metres was crap, and players constantly playing the ball off their knees. Think at one stage near the end he allowed England about three consecutive ptb like that, marching them up the field about 70m... should have been NZ penalty inside Englands 20 and closed out the game.
